I am an accomplished administrator of a professional, continuing, and online education unit with a career focus on supporting institutions in their grown in the areas of online education, continuing and professional education, lifelong learning, workforce development, corporate and community partnerships, and transfer student experience. I currently serve as Assistant Dean of Coastal Online and Continuing Education in the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies at Coastal Carolina University.

As a Fulbright Scholar and experienced researcher, I am respected by faculty both nationally and internationally. I am a committed teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience in a wide variety of classrooms from four-year institutions, to two-year schools, to college students in Madagascar, and to rural K-12 students in Madagascar. Outside of higher education, I have worked in state government, non-profits, and overseas in Madagascar as both a Peace Corps Volunteer and as a Fulbright Scholar.

With over 20 years in higher education, I a bring a diverse professional background to my leadership and work. I am an analytical and ethical leader who brings this broad perspective and background of experience to solve problems, set strategies, and advance the mission and vision of institutions, especially in the areas of professional, continuing and online education. I am a firm believer in access to education and its transformative powers. My passion for education stays bright because it transforms student lives like no other force. I am particularly passionate about leading teams and units that provide educational opportunities to adult learners, online learners, lifelong learners, non-traditional students, and transfer students.
